Facebook contacts

Hi Everyone,

I am a first time android user and i have a quick question that i am hoping someone can help me with

when i hit the phone button it brings up all the contacts from my facebook page as well as the ones from my old phone, i checked and i have my facebook accounts set to dont sync

i guess i am basically asking if there is a way to delete or get rid of the facebook contacts that i dont want in my phone?

if i'm not mistaken--

at this point, only Nexus users have the option to remove the Facebook sync (all aspects) from their phone.
if you bought an android phone--it'll sync with facebook (contacts included)--the only way you can really get past it (or over it, i should say) is to simply opt NOT to view those facebook contacts in your contacts list by de-selecting them in the View sort option under People

-app tray>people>menu>View>de-select Facebook Contacts

There is also a bug in the software....Since when you Tap Phone, you will have all of your Facebook contacts listed there. UNLESS you choose not to sync them.
