No Volume Down

I just noticed this morning, while I was listening to an audiobooks, my VOLUME DOWN button nolonger works. It also doesn't work in any other media application, nor while on the phone. Anyone else experience this issue, and any luck solving the problem? Ofcourse, Verizon tech support told me to take the battery out, and if that didn't work to do a master reset. Taking the battery out didn't help, and I'm trying to avoid the Master Reset.

Doing a master reset is the only other option I can think of. By doing that you would eliminate it being a software issue but first wait and see if someone else has an option beside the reset.

Try a battery pull first. Pull the sim card tray out and then hold the power button down a few seconds after its out.

Tried a battery pull, and pulling out the sim card as well. Didn't do the trick.

Turned out to be a hardware issue, so I had to replace the phone itself.
