So I followed this to a T:

http://www.androidcentral.com/sdk-driver-root-oh-my

and I was getting an error. Since I have already plugged in my phone once before I though I would delete the ADB driver that is in the Other Devices section of Device Manager, also go through and delete all the Android HTC and VZW software, run ccleaner restart and try again.

After I download the USB drivers and plug up my phone it brings:

AutoPlay options CD Drive I: Verizon Mobile Install Drivers, I clear out of that and try to point the new found hardware into where the USB drivers are found and it comes up saying not found.

What should the settings be under Settings>Connect To PC?

and what else am I missing?

In CMD prompt and the DDMS tool is still blank

Did that still comes up with the CMD Prompt in the background

Ok so I now have C:\Windows\system32;C:\Windows;C:\Windows\System32\Wbem;C:\AndroidStuff\android-sdk-windows\platform-tools;C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\java.exe under EV I am going to try it under x86

EDIT:Still Blank DDMS

When I remove everything after
C:\Windows\system32;C:\Windows;C:\Windows\System32\Wbem;

Its just a blank CMD prompt, I do not get the error that is in your post

Also I have installed every SDK not just 2.2,
could it also be I do not have HTC Sync on my PC, I am downloading now but HTC's servers are junk I will continue this tomorrow
