Oopse, I voted "yes it does" but then I noticed there was an "I can barely hear it" option which I definitely should have picked.

thats kind of disappointing.. can this be fixed ota or is it a hardware problem?

I would assume software could fix this. I remember having blackberry and the speed dial tone used to be low after they sent out an its update it was much louder. I think the ringed volume too was bumped up and possibly the speaker volume. So I have hope it can be fixed

When I played back video, the sound is very low even when the volume is to the max. When I turned on the SRS sound enhance option it sounded better, but It's still not as loud as I thought it was going to be.

For the people that have sound, can you still hear it when you record something from a distance like a tv a few feet away?

It's not just video -- I have to practically yell for voice commands.

So I did a test like yours and found out something weird, for my phone, if theres background noise, my voice suddenly becomes a lot clearer and louder even though i now had my camera further away from me, but when i mute the tv and stop the background noise, my voice suddenly becomes quiet again from far away.

    Here are two vids

First is with my HTC aria. I was about 40 feet away

Second is with my tb, I was about 10 feet away with the tv volume up to about 30

You can not hear the audio on the vid from the tb.

    Any ideas? Software issue? Hardware?
