Anyway for phone off/email & internet on?

Often when bored in meetings, would like to turn my phone off so calls go right to voice mail but still be able to check email/internet browse. Couldn't do it with my windows phone, wondering if at all possible on android

If you're connected to wifi you should be able to accomplish this by going into settings -> wireless & networks and unchecking "mobile network".

You can turn on call forwarding and send the call to another number or directly to voicemail.

Why not just silent your phone? Won't ring and you still have access to your email and browser. I do this all the time.

like the last option if I understand. How do you send a call directly to voice mail?

that's what I use to do and do now with the TB. Its just that people seem to know the difference in how many rings when the phone is just not answered versus goign to voice mail. Minor thing, but just wanted to see if there was a way
