Anyone else have it force close when trying to sync with existing contacts?

Tested and works great.. Too bad it is only on Verizon LTE phones (which seems to only be 1). Wonder if they will allow this on the Xoom when it gets the upgrade.

Hmm, app runs fine and when I try to video call to a Mac running skype the video preview shows up but when the person answers the video shuts off. I can't see their video and they can't see mine. Guess it still isn't there yet? Being blocked until "official"?

Don't want to know what this is going to do to the battery, running in the background.

What I mean is maybe the one from droid life is a different version than the "official" one because on the Skype site it says no video yet but the one on droid life has video, although I have not tested it yet. Can anyone see the file size difference or software version from the Skype site and from droid life?

I noticed this as well, but you can make it completely stop by going to the options in skype and telling it to sign you out ... take not putting your status as offline does not keep it from running in the background as the little S symbol will still be up in the notification bar at the top left, so make sure you completely sign out if you don't want it to be running in the background, its off when the little S disappears.

Anyone else paranoid about installing a big name, highly anticipated app that mysteriously appears outside of the Market on an anonymous downloading site from an unknown source?
