I'm glad to see this so called "Nationwide Outage". 'Cuz, we all know that it is only ThunderBolt's. Yes, I know about the undocumented/unsupported/non-VZW Android/HTC "tweaks" to bring at least 3G back to this phone. But that doesn't count! I'm glad VZW is (apparently) getting inundated with ThunderBolt owner calls. Perhaps this will not only give them the incentive they need to fix their network, but will also give them the incentive to get these darned ThunderBolt OTA fixes out! I say fixes, because, if we can "workaround" this issue and at least get 3G by manipulating the various "tweaks" that we know, the firmware should be doing that for us automatically!
Edit: Just in case I didn't make my point well enough, my point is that the ThunderBolt should should have automatically negotiated a 3G connection when one existed, rather than falling back all the way to 1x.
