ARRGGGHHH - Replacement TB - Can't Activate Due to Outage

Got a replacement TB via UPS for a lost TB today and I can't use the da^n thing. Two calls to VZW and was told to leave it on while it is waiting to activate and when the network is back up it will activate automatically.

THIS SUCKS!!!:'(

If, before activation, you can do both of the tweaks (4636 and 778) you may be able to get 3G. Maybe then it would activate? Although, I thougt it would activate on 1x. Are you even getting 1x?

wifi works great with the phone if u have a strong signal internet service. Iam actually using the wifi now since i have downtime with the 3g-4g network...i called vcs and they said it will be up in the next 24hrs...SMDH!!!!

Nope - it is stuck at a screen with a sim card and says "Please wait while your phone is activating"
