FYI:
The application is not removed from the market, it is just blocked by the carrier. A quick work around for viewing blocked applications on the android market is to put the phone (android) into airplane mode and then enable its wifi. Open up the market and... paydirt!
Hope this points you in the right direction,

Which version is everyone using? The wifi tether or the wireless tether? (and as a side question...what's the difference between "wireless" and "wifi"? Is the "wireless" bluetooth?)

In my case I use wifi for xoom and wireless for ipad.

Also, putting your TB in Airplane mode and accessing the Market via wifi will allow you to "see" Wifi Tether and download it. This is what I did on my rooted TB. Thanks to a tipster on another thread!

Awesome tip for PDA Net! I was losing a lot of sales because of PDA Net disappearing from the market.
