Question -- I have a rooted phone, still running stock OS with some bloatware removed...
is this "safe" to install? - 05-12-2011, 10:19 AM #11Device history:

From the last time this update was supposed to be released, I believe the consensus was that while it was "safe" to install it, you would probably loose Root and the old method(s) may not work to re-root them.
I know I just got my TB running how I want it with BAMF and I won't voluntarily download this until guys over in the Hack forum say it's ok.Thanked by: - 05-12-2011, 10:22 AM #18

Got a GPS lock in 12 seconds standing next to a window on the 37th floor where in the past it never locked.
Didn't clear A-GPS data before the test, so on this one data point, it seems to have been improved.
The 3G/1x-RTT and no-data-on-sleep issues I'd been having, I won't be able to tell without some extended use, though. - 05-12-2011, 10:32 AM #24
Only done minimal testing so far, but it sounds like camcorder is recording audio much better!
