Battery life after the update
Let's get an idea about this post OTA battery issue.

i feel like mine is better by a small amount. I had it off the charger about 18 hours yesterday, with almost 2 hours of use time and I had 63% battery remaining when i put it back on the charger last night. It does vary from day to day sometimes so I'll keep watching it to see if this is what i consistently see.

i noticed after the update that my battery life was draining twice as fast as before. i figured out that the new update did not work well with widgetsoid 2x. i deleted it and now the battery life is better then before the update. so i'm guessing that some apps may need to be deleted...

Re: Battery life after the update
Compared to MR1, it's much better. Compared to the leaked MR2 update that I've been running for a while, it's about the same. The original MR1 was opening rogue applications and draining my battery [on standby] within two hours at times. I'm so glad I haven't had to deal with that for a long time.

Re: Battery life after the update
My battery life was much better as a very heavy user getting 8hrs. Was a welcomed surprise. I only used to get 4hrs

Re: Battery life after the update
I have not noticed much of a change since the MR 2 OTA update. Any improvement appears to be relatively minor. I am now at 54% after about 8 hours on. Most of that time was just in standby, but I used the phone pretty intensively over the lunch hour for checking email, reading news articles on the web, and viewing one short video. I have kept brightness at 25% today. Overall the battery usage is tolerable for what I need.

Re: Battery life after the update
I was streaming music all day at the office for 8 hours without docking and left with 55% instead of the usual 20 womp womp
You got to risk it for the biscuit

My battery life has also increased with he update. I'm able to get over 14 hours of use with pretty heavy texting and light surfing. I had about 75% battery at the end day. Also I shut off my data when not in use and that helps a lot
