It looks that way... Went from 4G to 1X just recently. After deciding it was not a small issue switched all settings to finally get 3G..... This is starting to **** me off.

Fort Wayne, IN, non-4G area, stuck in 1X. I know people on Sprint had a whole lot of issues leading up to them getting their "4G" up and running. Is there any chance that they may be in the upgrading process in some of these areas, and that is why we are having the issues?

I don't know about anyone else, but I don't think I chose the wrong phone, I think I may have chosen the wrong network. I was with AT&T for fifteen years and never worried about my data connection. Now, every time I pick up my phone I wonder if I have data. For the three months I've been with them, when it comes to data, Verizon sucks. 3G, 4G, eHRPD...LTE...it all sucks. Can never depend on it. I'm starting to consider just paying the ETF and going back to AT&T until LTE becomes more reliable. The idea of reliable data and 4G speeds is the only thing holdin me back but I'm starting to suspect Verizon is a long way from providing eHRPD/LTE network reliably.

Seeing the same thing in Orange County, CA. Turned off eHRPD and set to EV-DO auto, and at least I have reliable 3g again. Annoying to have to do it.

North Orange County, CA. My 4G just popped back on! Hoping that whatever the reason for the outage, VZW updated things for the better.
