Also, how's your signal strength? Does the phone feel warm/hot when you notice the battery draining?

I have had mine for less then a week and I get lots of battery time. Only once so far it got to 10% battery left and this was at 11:30pm. I will charge it and start my day at 7am and it goes the whole day and night and through the next day til about 8pm (about 10-12%). I am a heavy user too.

I was underwhelmed with the battery life on mine. I had a Droid Bionic before this with an extended 2600mah battery. It lasted longer than the G2 but the screen was smaller and lower res so that may be why. The g2 is fine except for when using navigation with the screen on. It will only last through two or three hours of that.

this means that i personally am giving up NOTHING with these tips. i'm not giving up any features. there are no tradeoffs for me. a tradeoff or a hardship would be to turn off PUSH email or use AIRPLANE mode during the day etc. get it?
you find your own balance and the tips list is a start but you must come to your own conclusion as to what's important. it's personal preference but these are not a big deal to me at all as they do not affect the function or operation of my phone. these tips do not deteriorate my experience.

Re: LG G2 - Battery
The first day I got my G2 my battery life wasn't so hot mainly because I had everything turned on the next day and the day after I turned off more and more of what I was not using and battery life increased alot less idle drain. Yesterday I let my phone charge over night and the battery life was actually better then it had been the day before, I think that if you unplug the phone as soon as it says its finished charging, that it actually is not 100% more like 98-99% it took a good while longer to go from 100% to 99% OR it could be because I didn't interrupt the charge at all at night vs when I charge during the day I will check txt messages or take calls.
Using the phone(playing games in my case) while its charging definitely had an effect on my Evo 4g LTE it would cause the phone to say it finished charging way earlier then if I didn't play a game on it, this definitely seemed to hurt battery life, maybe smaller things like txting or talking on phone while charging does the same.

Re: LG G2 - Battery
I have only been using my phone in the medium use category since at work for the last few days and I get two days out of my phone. The battery life has been great and I will try and use it heavy over the next few days to see but the last two weeks is the best I have experienced.
