Verizon LG G2 - Screen settings during wireless and wired charging

When I have the phone charging via wire the screen stays on, albeit dim. I am wondering if this can be set to brighter? also, has anyone figured out a way to keep the screen on while the phone is charging wirelessly?

I haven't figured this out either. I was hoping Lollipop would have this figured out, but it's even WORSE than the previous OS version. In fact, they stripped out the ability to use a photo frame or photo table entirely during Daydream mode. Really ticked me off, because when I was wireless charging my phone on my Tylt, it would run through my pics like a digital photo frame - looked real nice. Now it's just a stupid digital clock.

I am going to try something using NFC tags on my QI charging cradle. Once I get to test it out I'll report back.
