VZW & LG is working on the VS98012B, internal live date is Dec 6, I guess the new firmware update is coming very soon.

Mind if I ask how/where you came by this information?

I got it from a community that I follow on G+. They post information about all LG phones on different carriers and have been able to provide other firmware information and files.

Here's hoping that they address the frustrating erratic touchscreen behavior. I've been doing my best to make LG and VZW aware of it, in every channel I can.

You mean when trying to move stuff around or apps into folders etc? Key word "trying".

I've never had a problem with my screen in any way. In fact, I have had my G2 since October and have not had any issues with it all. I was getting a little worried with the issues reported here and had been thinking about switching over to a Droid Maxx, just in case things go south on me.

I think the link in mooc's post above shows some patch notes.

Update was around 170MB or so, took between 5-10 minutes to install.
