Verizon LG G2 - Extra Calendar Account

I don't know if this is a new problem or I just noticed it but I seem to have an extra account in the calendar. Its just my name and then below it is my gmail account. The problem is when I add events from my phone it isn't syncing with the gmail account and it won't let me add it to be synced because it is already there. Is there a way to delete this "extra" calendar so my gmail one is the only one?

So I figured out a way to do what I wanted but not an answer. I still can't delete the account but I went in to application manager and deleted all the saved data for the calendar and calendar storage. The next time I tried to add an event in calendar it let me pick which calendar. That had previously been missing.
