    Default Root?

Anyone figure out how to root after the update? I can't find a good tutorial for this specific phone without people saying "ioroot 25" even though it doesn't work. There is no help anywhere else so I was hoping someone here had an actual working method. For kit kat G2 on Verizon of course.

Go back to original stock lg firmware using lg flash tool. There's a thread on xda developers. Then root using ioroot, get TWRP and flash a KitKat ROM.

Ioroot works fine... Not sure why it fail in your case, are you sure your following the direction exactly?

Are you having an issue with the drivers or unlocking flash tool?

This video shows how to bypass the flash tool unlock code. The Megalock DLL file is what you need.
