WiFi not working, 14 month old G2

I have a really weird issue on my G2. The WiFi on my 14 month old G2, is not searching for any WiFi and appears to be stuck at the turning on phase. The WiFi Tile on the quick settings bar is grey and keeps pulsing, and the WiFi will not turn off when you click on the WiFi Tile. Also, on the WiFi screen, the on/off knob is greyed out in the off position. Occasionally, it decides to work like normal, but if the phone is reset, it reverts back to the above state. I have also performed six factory resets to no avail. I have no idea what the issue is. I was hoping that someone else has seen this issue. I have a feeling it's hardware related, since I performed six factory resets and the issue still occurs. Any one have any suggestions???

Have you recently received an over the air update? If so, bring the phone to the carrier.

If not, you may be right - the wifi radio may be on its way out.

It's the circuit board, I had it looked at today.
