wifi name on notification pulldown

I updated to lollipop and now the only way to see what wifi network I'm connected to is to go all the way to the Wi-Fi network list. On kit Kat it was on the notification dropdown. Now all I have is the Verizon reminder. I haven't found anyone else complaining, so I'm wondering if it's just me. Anyone else Have this issue?

I have the same problem. Also, in the past it would tell me what name of the WiFi I was connecting to as it was connecting. It doesn't do that now.

I felt the same way and I just discovered the answer!
Instead of a regular swipe down to open the notifications, swipe down with two fingers, and you have your quick settings and it shows the wireless network name
