How do you start A lg rev in safe ?

a friend downloaded the app silent boot and now the phone will not start. Halfway thru startup the screen goes black. Phone still vibrates some but otherwise dead. Many battery pulls later still not working. Safe mode might be the answer.

Problem solved, she actually broke her SD card in half trying to get the battery out. She is on the way to the verizon store to get a $50 replacement. Price seems a little high to me.
