New AT&T tower is just up the hill from our farm...
I just signed a two year contract with Verizon to get my GN3. Nearest Verizon tower is 6+ miles away...

It was when the GN3 first came out, too late.
As I said, self pity is all I have.
Not TEOTWAWKI just wanted to vent.
(I can see the construction site from my front window... OK OK, no more whining. )

Although good service is important at home it is also important wherever you go. Verizon likely still has better service wherever you travel. Verizon also just launched a much faster speed. I was getting around 35 MPS myself.

I am getting OK service from Verizon. Maybe 2 bars and 4G at home. However, my wife and I do not keep a home phone. Our farm is in SW Missouri. We depend on the phone for severe weather alerts and communications. (land lines are not dependable here)
Anyway the prospect of stronger signal strength is appealing. As I noted my vent was just self pity whining! Sorry

You are right. Verizon has much broader based coverage. That is why we have been with them for several years. Just whining, sorry for the vent.
