Default Galaxy Note 3: Jumping on board to Verizon

My wife and I have been US Cellular customers for years. Heck, I've been with them since roughly 2001, when I had my first cell phone (that generic Nokia model everyone had at the time).

Well, the wife and I are switching over to Verizon. Upgrading from our current Galaxy S3 phones to the Note 3. Looking forward to the transition, and hopefully better cell reception in our area. Been having a few issues with US Cellular's service lately, and hopefully moving to Verizon will help a bit.

More than anything, I think I'm going to like the additional screen real estate that the Note 3 offers.

You guys will love it. Me and my wife upgraded from iPhone 5s about 2 months ago and we are still discovering how amazing these phones are. Get the n3 you won't be disappointed.

I work in a condo on an island in florida, when I first started I had AT&T, basically I had no service in such a large building. I switched to Verizon a few years ago and never been happier.

I hate how expensive they are and some of their policies, but hands down they are the best!!

Welcome to Big Red. It might cost more. But it has always worked for me.

IMHO, it's only slightly bigger than my S3 was, but much quicker and smoother OS experience. Really like it so far.

The last couple weeks I was having a lot of issues with US Cellular. I know reception is local, but I was dropping calls, and sometimes not even receiving them (I'd realize it later when I'd get a voicemail and the phone hadn't even rang). Then my text messages were getting messed up...I'd receive texts literally 24 hours after they'd been sent to me. Very weird, and made me glad to finalize the switch yesterday.
