US VZW N3 Users Traveling in Europe - Does VZ's Global Data Plan Work OK?

I'm off to Germany and E Europe (Austria, Czech Repub, Slovakia and Hungary) for 2 months, and would like to hear from anyone who's used VZ's Global Data Plan/voice/text plans with their N3 in that part of the world. Their pricing is competitive, and it would sure be easier not to have to switch SIMs and have multiple carriers during the trip over. Thanks!
