Works fine here, used it earlier this evening.
You said you checked all of your Google settings?

Nova Launcher now has the home screen enabled for saying 'ok Google' without the need for the search bar.

I never use the "OK Google" phrase. I just talk, ask questions, whatever and it works fine without the stupid sounding phrase.

Curious, how do you 'enable' Google for that?

I don't think I did anything. I did download and enable Google speech to text but I don't know if that has anything to do with it or not.

I'm just wondering how does Google distinguish between regular conversation and when you're purposely looking for information from Google. I know Google is 'always listening' hence the need for a key phrase like "OK Google."
