Favorite contacts widget

Hey guys, my wife just got an S4 and I can't seem to find the favorite contacts widget anywhere. I use it on my note 2 and she used a similar one on her RAZR. I see it under all apps in the application manager but it's not available for use.

Has anyone been able to find or use it?

Is there a favorites tab at the top of the phone screen and the contacts screen for you? Related note: the Evernote Hello app looks to be an attractive alternative.

The widget works fine for me. I just went to widgets and it was listed as favorite contacts. I'm using Nova launcher so it should definitely be available with the stock launcher.

Yea that's the one. I have one contact widget but no favorite contacts. Bummer

I don't have it either. Wish I did. Wife's s4 doesn't have it. Where can we get it?

I don't have it either, but I made a contact widget of each favorite and put them all in a folder.

I have it also and am also using Nova. I'm willing to bet it has something to do with that.

Maybe somehow you can't access it on the stock launcher. Maybe they'll fix it in an update.

I'm using Apex Launcher and i still don't have it but I downloaded an app called favorite contacts widget and it seems to do the job. I don't think its customizable or if it is i haven't figured it out yet

I am wondering if it is tucked away in the easy mode or whatever it's called. Maybe nova or apex have the ability to access all the widgets where as the stock launcher doesn't...

OH well, I guess she'll just have to find something else in the play store that she likes.

There is a free app called favorite contacts widget and it does the job. I also spoke with the developer and he said that he is releasing an update soon that will have Facebook picture integration.

I have three widgets that I use to put contacts on a home screen. They are 'Contact', 'Direct Dial', and 'Direct Message'. You drag the widget to the home screen then assign a contact to it.

I am having the same issue, just picked up an S4 for me, and the wife has the Note2. She has the widget, I do not.. :/
Very odd.
