emoji in Stock sms application?

I just made a switch from iPhone 5 to the galaxy today and I was wondering is there a way to have emojis in the stock sms application?

I think there are apps in the play store but I've never used them so i can't comment on which are good. Hopefully someone else can

An application as another texting app?

Go SMS Pro... it has an Emoji encoding setting for the iPhone. I have not tested this with anyone that has an iPhone, but I like it better than the stock SMS app... you can even set a different LED notification color.

Ya man get Handscent or hancent something like that and it has the total gamete of emoji's like you had on your iphone you will have to get the TXTing app and the emoji plug in was fun when i had it on my old bionic.

You can actually use stock "Android" emojis. While texting using stock sms application click on Menu button > Insert Smiley
