Syncing with my bluetooth phone in car

So I've had the Samsung Galaxy S4 for about a month now. For some reason, every time I start my car my phone contacts are erased, phone call log is erased, and there is no saved history or speed dials. This is for the car phone only, not on my actual cell phone. Any heard of this issue? I'm not sure if its something with the 4runner or something with the phone.
