SIM Card Not Inserted

Anyone in the L.A. area have this issue where your S4 is saying there's no SIM card inserted? I'm just wondering if it's a network thing or a hardware issue. Thanks.

It's a hardware issue. Have you tried removing the sd card then re-inserting it? Also try another sd card (if possible) and see if it's a defect with the original sd card.

The OP said SIM card... it does sound like an issue with your SIM card. Even with a network outage you should not see an message that your SIM card is not inserted.
