Using T-Mobile on Verizon Galaxy S4, text and talk work, data does not.

Suggestions as to what I can do to fix it? I know its possible, I've been looking around for answers and have seen confirmations of people where data works perfectly for them... But they tend to just state that it works, and not what exactly they've done.

So far I've created a new APN for T-Mobile and changed the network mode to GSM

Name: t-mobile
APN: epc.t-mobile.com
Proxy: Not set
Port: not set
UN: not set
PW: not set
Server: wap.voicestream.com
MMSC: http://mms.msg.eng.t.mobile.com/mms/wapenc
MMP: 216.155.165.50
MMP: not set
MCC: 310
MNC: 260
AT: not set
APN type: internet+mms
APN protocol: IPv4
APN roaming protocol: IPv4
Bearer: unspecified

What now?

I'm just wondering how data is possible when Verizon and T-Mobile use different LTE bands.

Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile actually have an overlapping LTE Band - Band 4

Verizon uses Band 13 (main) and Band 4 (secondary -- also referred to as XLTE)
AT&T uses Band 17 (main) and Band 4 (secondary)
T-Mobile uses Band 4 (main) and Band 2 (secondary) and Band 700-A (new)

So yes, technically a Verizon phone can work on T-Mobile w/ LTE Band 4
