Default Browser Won't load Google search on Wi-Fi

My son just bought a S4 and at first he was having problems keeping the Wi-Fi connected. It would say you internet connection is too slow, switching to 4G. That seems to have gotten better, but still does it once in a while. Now though he noticed when he does a Google search, he gets a message saying The page can not be loaded at this time. Seems to only happen with Google, and it happens on both the stock browser and Chrome. Other websites seem to load just fine. He can switch it to 4g and the Google search will pop right up just like it should. Very crazy! Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!
