I saw another thread with essentially the same question but it wasn't resolved.
With KitKat, the only notification that splashed across my lockscreen was for the stock messaging app, I was okay with that. The other apps for which I have set notifications had a small icon on the top , I pulled it down and clicked. Very simple and neat.
With Lollipop, it seems like EVERY notification is splashed across the lock screen.
In settings, I can 1. show all content ,2. hide sensitive content, or 3. Do not show notifications.
#1 is what I don't like.
#2 is just as bad but it says something like "content blocked", but it still splashes across the lockscreen.
#3 is unacceptable for me.
Is there a third party lockscreen I could use that works for Lollipop that would give me more control over what it looks like?
I'm using the basic free Nova launcher.
