Have A ThunderBolt... When I Upgrade?

If I have read everything correctly upgrading from a 3G to a 4G phone will not affect "Grandfathered" Unlimited data. My question is what if I already have a 4G phone? I'm wanting to keep Unlimited data as long as I can so I'm wondering if when my contract is up if I could just purchase a phone outright and Verizon would let me keep the Unlimited data.

Also in a second question during the time of my contract if I should purchase another phone and want to trade out on my account will this affect my plan?

Your unlimited 4g plan will be grandfathered, as long as you don't change your plan...as for your you 2nd question, if your referring to buying a phone outright, no contract, and using it on your line, then I'm pretty sure you should be fine (I think)...adding another line would not be unlimited.
