    Default Verizon outage

    Arizona is experiencing an outage. I have had a problem all week and now it is completely down. I called Verizon and it is a definite issue in Cave Creek. So if you are in AZ, it isn't your phone, it is a Verizon network issue.

    You are lucky there is a definite issue in some areas. Mine is completely down. Can only use my phone for calls and texting.

    I woke up with that issue this morning. Battery pull didn't fix it.

    Luckily I have what you want: information!

    Dial ##778#
    The password is 000000
    That's six zeroes
    Modem settings > rev. A > enabled > hit menu key > commit changes

    The phone should restart and you should have data.
    Make everything as simple as possible, but not simpler.

    I had a problem here in NY with no data a couple of days ago as well. Seems ok now though.

    Switching to rev. A fixed it for me. I can still use voice and data simultaneously and get the same results on speedtest using rev. A. I honestly don't know the difference between rev. A and eHRPD other than eHRPD is newer. Verizon will push a PRL update soon ish. In the mean time I tried switching back to eHRPD today and it's still out for me.

    This is not a geographic issue, my dad has a thunderbolt and he's had data the whole time.

    I have it on CDMA. Cave creel is only a 3g area. It is out in cave creek

    If you were talking to me: rev. A works beautifully. Same performance, same coverage, same simultaneous voice and data. I like the idea of being on the newer network but honestly if I got a bad PRL update I'm fine on this one.

    Does no one understand. LOL. The network is down. Period. Nada. Nothing. Zip. Finally have it back but not holding my breath. But there was absolutely NOTHING

    My dad is still on eHRPD and he has data. After my switch to rev. A I've had it too. Considering I didn't see a million puerile come through the store I work at this afternoon I'm going to assume this isn't a company wide outrage. Probably just some buggy tower update pushed to some people.

    There was an outage in some areas of Arizona and southern California that was definitely a huge problem. I am in an area of az that was part of it. I have it back now
