    Default 4G LTE inflight

    Yes I know you are not allowed to, but I cant help but wonder if you can? Anybody know if you can get a Verizon data signal inflight?

    The couple of times I have flown and forgotten to shut off phones, I have never had a data or voice signal at cruise altitude. In talking to a commercial pilot friend, it's hit or miss below 10,000 feet. Above 10,000, that aluminum tube you are riding in attenuates signals really well.
