I have a line open for upgrade, it currently has a dumb phone on it, I'm also on a 3g phone on my line....

If I were to upgrade the open line(gs3) can I swap it over to my line and still keep my unlimited?


If part of the issue is my phone being 3g.... Would it make sense to activate a 4g phone, then just swap sims? Then just re-activate the dumb phone back to its current line.

I have a buddy with a spare charge I could use for this process for a few days.

Or am I stuck buying the sg3 at full price to keep my unlimited?
