I don't see how it can be deemed inappropriate. I think it is a good idea to be honest.

You're welcome. I think if you want to try something else, it is a good thing to pass along your unlimited data. You're not asking any cash, just to take over the account. Can't see a problem with that!

I *thought* Verizon was no longer allowing people to transfer lines of unlimited data.

Well, it is called ASSUMPTION of liability. That tells me the person taking over the account assumes all monetary liability. Right?
