I went from a Galaxy S2 with Everything Unlimited on Sprint, to a Galaxy S3 with Shared Unlimited Talk & Text/6G/Hotspot on Verizon. I'm so use to not worrying about overages, to paranoid as h3ll. I have wifi at home and at work so I should be safe. We'll see...

Cool. Of course you're not going to switch.

And you have a promo that hardly anyone has. lol.

To be honest, I'm so paranoid abt overage, I haven't really done any surfing outside of wifi.

It's not that bad. Surfing on a mobile device won't do much damage. Tethered surfing will do moderate damage. Streaming media is what will really kill your data plan. Even then, $10-15 isn't horrible overage. Thankfully the days of $2/mb and 40c/min overage are getting behind us.
