The Switch!
I went from a Galaxy S2 with Everything Unlimited on Sprint, to a Galaxy S3 with Shared Unlimited Talk & Text/6G/Hotspot on Verizon. I'm so use to not worrying about overages, to paranoid as h3ll. I have wifi at home and at work so I should be safe. We'll see...

Looking at switching also to VZW. How are you data speed? 3G and/or 4G if you are in 4G area.

Unfortunately, I utilize my phone for more than 450 or 900 min a month.

It's not that bad. Surfing on a mobile device won't do much damage. Tethered surfing will do moderate damage. Streaming media is what will really kill your data plan. Even then, $10-15 isn't horrible overage. Thankfully the days of $2/mb and 40c/min overage are getting behind us.
