    Question Choosing phones

Looks like I'll be switching from Sprint to Verizon. I've been looking at either the Samsung Galaxy Nexus or the Samsung Galaxy S3. I can't decide. What has been your experience and what would you prefer?

Sidenote: I'd prefer one that I can root. The HTC EVO 3D has been a nightmare to try to root.

I've had both. Had the nexus for about 4 months and just got bored, plus the battery life is terrible and I do mean terrible. Stock Android is bland to me but that's my opinion.

The S3 is simply stunning in every aspect. I recommend you go try them both. Once I picked up the S3 and started using it I was sold.

RAZR Maxx due to battery life alone. I don't always have access to a charger while at work so this saves me on those days. Or if possible, wait until the fall or around then and get the RAZR Maxx HD that's due. I want that device so badly but not sure if I'll pay full retail for it. Knowing me I will though.

I was dreading the new HD coming out with me just upgrading my line..... But poor me has stumbled into 11 grand that I was not expecting! Guess what I'll be doing.

Heck, I may even get an iPhone just to use as A music player.

I think you should share that money with me.

Chose other as I'm eagerly waiting to see what HTC has in store later this year (still content with the Thunderbolt for now). Otherwise, if I had to choose now, I'd probably go with the Galaxy S3 as it's the latest and greatest. The Galaxy Nexus is too old and is known for poor radios. Maxx is out because of its non-removable battery (despite its larger capacity). My two cents...

If you had to choose now, i would say S3. I own a galaxy nexus and haven't had any trouble with the battery or radio signal. Stock is great, but the S3 is the latest and has great specs.

2 grand is going to my son for "improvements" to his 2008 Mustang . Gotta keep some aside to make momma happy and then a small part for me.
Between the first two I just get a little taste!
