I have actually used my discount for equipment at a Radio Shack, but it was for Verizon-branded accessories. I have also been able to use the discount at stand a lone Verizon-franchised dealers. Again, on branded accessories.

Last time I tried to get a discount on phones, was told employee discounts don't apply to phones.
