Will lte be like gsm?
I was thinking today how I would love the new nexus 4 but since its unlocked gsm you can't put it on Verizon, but I was wondering once Verizon goes to lte voice will Verizon customers be able to buy unlocked lte phones and just pop in a verizon lte Sim and use it?

Re: Will lte be like gsm?
if they wil work on the same frequencies. It would be sweet if you could do that on verizon. If you are thinking about buying a At&t 4G phone and running it on verizon.. i dont think that will happen anytime soon. But i think you can use the VZW iphone on a GSM network. But i wish you could. AT&T get the great phones.

I was thinking more along the lines of future nexus phones being unlocked LTE sold on Google play store and working on Verizon. I would love that

Re: Will lte be like gsm?
I think once VoLTE is readily available across carriers and LTE is deployed on the AWS spectrum, we could potentially see unlocked devices that will be compatible with most carriers. Its nearly impossible until then.
