HTC EVO 4G Carrier Swap

Hey guys,

First off sorry for being a newbie here. I'm not sure if this question has been answered before.

So I have a friend, she needs a new phone and I'm getting my new phone very soon. She currently uses the verizon network. I wanted to give her my HTC Evo 4g when I get my new phone. I'm currently on the Sprint network. How would I go about making my Evo work with the Verizon network?

For all intents and purposes, you can't use an Evo 4G on Verizon. If you want to help your friend, sell your Evo and put the proceeds towards getting a VZW phone.

Is there any way to use this phone on ANY network, other than Sprint? If yes, any idea which carrier(s)? Thanks!

You should be able to switch to Ting.com. However, their coverage map is inaccurate so contact customer service to see if they provide coverage in your area.
