Default Swapping a 3G phone on to a 4G account by swapping SIM

I have two Android phones, both 4G. I can freely bounce between them by swapping SIM cards with no issues on voice and 4G data. However, I also have a really nice Blackberry Bold 9930, which while is not as fast, is much better looking, more compact and it does anything I need. It's just plain class . Yeah, I know the BB takes a SIM rather than micro-SIM like my Androids, but adapters are cheap. Of course the BB is 3G, and I have heard stories about people swapping a 3G device on to a 4G contract and getting it screwed up. In fact my daughter broke her 4G phone, put her old 3G on it, and seemed to have problems reactivating her 4G phone after it got repaired. So should this be a problem or no?

    1. 4g to 4g device is no problem
    2. 4g to 3g is a one way street, once you activate a 3g device on your 4g line your kill your sim card , you will need a new sim to reactivate the 4g device
    3. 4g isheep (nano sim cards) can be used over and over on the line they were activated on. example you went from an isheep 5 to a razr hd nano > micro, and you decide you want the isheep again customer service can reactivated the nano, after 24hrs from what i have been told, personally i have done it within 4hrs
    4. 3g to 4g requires a new sim card everytime

When I switched my mom's iphone 5 from one line to the other, the VZW rep threw out her phone card and told me they couldn't be used again.
    I voided my warranty.

that sim could have still been used the on Line that it was active on, when you switch from one line to another a new sim must be used.

uneducated reps are the best! they make the world go round
