I have an unlimited data line I upgraded back on 6/22/2012 to a Rzar Max. I had always thought my upgrade date would have been 2/22/2012, but on-line it shows my upgrade date is 6/22/2014.

My wife upgraded hers a few days later than I did and her upgrade date is 2/26/2014.

    Does anyone have an explanation?

Edit: (text from my Verizon app)

On 06/22/2014, you will be eligible for an upgrade at a discounted price with contract renewal. Your upgrade eligibility date is aligned with the term of your current contract.

I don't know the exact date but Verizon changed the upgrade date from 20 months to a full 24 months. There is a thread on this posted.

They changed their upgrade policy from 20 to 24 months in April.

I think because I'm on an unlimited data plan I can't upgrade and extend my original contract and that's why it says this.

This has nothing to do with unlimited, it affects everyone

What I find strange is my wife upgraded at the same time and she gets to upgrade after 20 months. I shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth.

Yeah it is a hiccup in the system, your wife's update should be at 24 months too.

Stupid. But I got contract pricing on my HTC one at full discount after 8 months on my contract. So I won't complain. On top of that I get unlimited text and mobile to mobile calling for $10 rather than $20.
