what will Verizon charge me if I activate a smartphone on an existing dumbphone line for only 1 day?

one of the lines on my Verizon account only has a dumbphone(flip phone with no data capability) on it.

I have a spare smartphone the I want to use for just one or two days. The phone is a Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 that's been gathering dust on my desk.

Will Verizon just charge me for the 1 or 2 days of usage? (1/30 or 2/30 of the $29 data charge)

I believe so. I activated a smartphone on a dumbphone line for less than a day and received no charge
