I'm in the miserable world of RIM right now, and I'm due for an upgrade in a few weeks, and my contract is up in February.
Right now the Incredible is in the lead, but I'm trying to hold out until the Windows Phone comes out so i can see how those are running, though I'm pretty gunshy about buying a first-run OS. But if I do wait that long, I may have the iPhone as an option, though Android is my lead vote-getter right now... - 09-21-2010, 01:42 PM #5
I have 13 days from today.
Top 2 to choose from are:
#1 DroidX
#2 Fascinate
Leaning towards the DroidX because (I hope) of the 2.2 upgrade scheduled for this week. -- Keeping my fingers crossed. - 09-22-2010, 05:06 PM #6
The 2.2 on the X is great! I have used the Inc and have the X now and I can recommend either one. I have not got to use the Fascinate yet.

The fascinate is the google powered phone... That uses bing. Thanks, Verizon.
Get an x.

My contract is not up for a while but i see myself staying with Android and likely with HTC. Really love my Incredible so as long as they keep innovating I will stick with them.

My contract won't be up until like next September (you can upgrade after a year and a half, right?).. but most likely I'll stick with Android! Don't see myself "moving on" to anything else.

Just liked up a Fascinate and love it. I rooted it and debinged it. Put on wireless tether and life is awesome.

I'll likely stick with Android. If WP7 is actually any good, which it doesn't seem like it's going to be, I may go back to it from WM now. But I'm getting a Fascinate tomorrow and will likely move on to a 4G Android phone when they're available.

I'm waiting for the Evo like device.
- 10-19-2010, 01:58 AM #14
Who knows. Android devices have come so far since the G1 in 2008. In under 2 years Android has been improved by leaps and bounds. And if I know myself like I think I know myself. I won't be waiting for my contract to be up before getting a new phone. However. I love my Evo, and there's nothing else on the market that even tempts me in the slightest bit to get rid of it. Whatever device does replace my Evo is probably nothing more than a blueprint or a concept at the moment. I haven't even heard of it, or seen any concept renders yet. But it will be mine some day.

Im going to add to what I said on the first page. I would love to stick with HTC. I would love a 4" display device with 4G and a screen as good as super amoled.

my upgrade is on 12-28-2010. I currently have the incredible. thinking of going with the Droid Pro. I type more than anything and a physical keyboard would be nice. But only thing holding me back is the lower screen resolutoin than my current phone
