500MB a month? That'll last me five days on a regular week :( I'd rather have them include unlimited data (or 3GB at least) and keep the phone calls/SMS at bay. Who uses those anyway? :p

(I know, a lot of people still call people haha I just don't anymore... and SMS has been pretty much dead for me since my first BlackBerry).

This is better than their single line plan offer.. You get 250 more MB :).

I still will always say.. For non heavy data users who need phone service.. Verizon's coverage with that price tag is nice!

But no carrier subsidy and no 4GLTE . This is fine if you are okay with a Moto g or something but those who want 4GLTE or the latest high end iPhone or Android, this may not be a good fit as only 3g phones work on Verizon prepaid.

So you are trading a high end phone with 250mb 4GLTE vs a 3g device with 500mb. I guess it depends on your needs.

Verizon postpaid $45 250mb plan with unlimited talk and text
$1,080($45 x 24 months)
$50 subsidized moto x cost
$30upgrade fee
$1, 160 Total cost for Verizon over 2 years*

Verizon prepaid $45 500mb
$1,080($45 x 24 months)
$100Unsubsidized moto g cost
$1,180Total cost for verizon prepaid (UNSUBSIDIZED) over 2 years*

Ah true didn't know it was strictly 3g devices.. Then the single line plan would be the best.

I still to this day wish my parents went to Verizon instead of staying with Sprint... It would be better when they travel. :(.

4GLTE devices can b used on pageplus, a Verizon mvno, if they are flashed. But still no 4GLTE on Verizon prepaid, direct or mvno.

I can see them restricting LTE access on ALLSET, but they're actually letting you BYOD?

Yes, you can byod, 3g devices only. Which is tough since all recent smartphones are 4GLTE

Hmm... that last sentence on the AC link made it seem like any device would be eligible. Oh well, I'm still glad that Moto G users can be on a cheaper plan than before. $60/mo for the Moto G seemed kind of high, this seems more reasonable.
