Verizon Changes Single Line Plans

The single line plans for Verizon have changed.

Before -

250 MB for $45 / 1 GB for $60

After-

1 GB for $60 (50 with edge) / 2 GB for $75 (65 with edge).


So what do you think? Like it or hate it? I think it's a good deal for people who don't need to much data but would like coverage and subsidized phones.

Yeah it was bound to happen. I knew Verizon would can their $45 plan. The $60 loyalty plan is better.

Prefer the $45 plan. Don't need to spend anymore money for data that's not going to be used.

I think that this plan makes perfect sense and is in direct competition with tmobile core plan. Though tmobile does offer unlimited 2g after you hit 1gb,whereas Verizon would charge you overage. Verizon also requires you to be on edge to get the lower price. Still if you use less than a gb and need Verizon then this plan is a good option.

And you have a note 3?? I don't get it.

What it wrong with that? Maybe she is on wifi most of the time. My wife has the 5s and barely uses any data

Not for my Note 3 is for hubby's dumb phone. That 250 is even more than he needs cuz he doesn't use data except for a rare game download. Rather pay the 80 cents or so as needed in his case.

Some people have good wifi where they go. If I did at work my mobile usage would be lower.
