Early upgrade??

The early upgrade is for edge. So you'd have to do edge, and you have to send them the phone that is currently under contract. And it can't have water damage or a cracked screen!

but if you do the early upgrade, it would be thru the edge program. they are not offering you a standard upgrade - it is an edge upgrade.

Far as I know you don't "sign up" for edge. It is a new way to purchase a phone through VZW.

I believe it's if you take advantage of the early upgrade it would have to be via edge.

yep, you will lose UDP if you do edge upgrade.

well then she needs to call and find out what it is because if it isn't edge idk what it is. but you are right - edge is not discounted, it is full price.

Edge still has a discount on the phones. Per say a gs5, $799 totally new. Through Edge it's like $699

If I go to purchase an s5 from the website it shows $599.99. So an edge purchase would discount that?
