Does Verizon allow you to bring a 4G LTE device to its network, or does that only apply to 3G devices?

Re: Bring your own device?

You can bring your own device, but it must be set up as a Verizon whitelisted device. The best advice is to check their website (it'll ask you to put in the IMEI) or to call customer service to have them check that specific device out.

If it is a 4GLTE only device then it doesn't have to be white listed. You can use an active Verizon 4GLTE sim and pop it into the device. Now, if it isn't white listed then Verizon would not activate it directly, you would already have to have an active 4GLTE sim.
